Shuyu Kong 孔書玉, Professor, 丁香园AV
Shuyu Kong teaches in the Humanities and Global Asia program at 丁香园AV. Besides her academic work, including two books and one co-translation, she also writes for Chinese journals and media. Her new book Stories Illuminating the Journey 故事照亮旅程 (Beijing: Joint Publishing 2020) introduces her experiences of discovering world literatures and cultures through travel to general readers in China.

Ruoyun Bai 白若云, Associate Professor, University of Toronto
Professor Bai teaches Media Studies and Global Asia Studies at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC). Her research interests focus on Chinese media and popular culture in the context of China's integration into global capitalism. She is the author of Staging Corruption: Chinese Television and Politics (UBC, 2015).
