The David See-chai Lam Centre for International Communication will be a supporter of the 30^th Anniversary of the Chinese Canadian Writers鈥� Association (CCWA) and the 10^th international symposium entitled 鈥淏order Crossing and Interaction: Evolution and Achievements of Chinese Canadian Literature鈥�  at the Chinese Cultural Centre. Nearly 30 writers and scholars from Canada, the United States, China, Hong Kong, Macao, Korea and Thailand will come to present their papers. The symposium will be followed by a round-table discussion and dinner at the Floata Seafood Restaurant (180 Keefer Street),  6-9pm. For details, visit  or contact ccwavan@gmail.com.    

About the Chinese Canadian Writers' Association (CCWA)

The Chinese Canadian Writers鈥� Association was co-founded in 1987 by Mr. Paul Lo and Dr. Laifong Leung, then a professor at the University of Alberta. Its current Chair is  Mr. William Chan. As a registered organization in British Columbia, its mission is threefold: to create a platform of literary interaction, to encourage creative writing, and raise the level of literary appreciation. In the past thirty years, the association has held many activities including book launches, lectures, poetry recitation, film appreciations, monthly gatherings, as well as nine international symposia on Chinese Canadian literature.
