Researching Contemporary Topics in Asia: Panel Discussion and Student Workshops

Join a panel discussion with Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada鈥檚 post-graduate research fellows, who will talk about their recent short-term field work in in Asia, looking at:
- East Asian youth cultures (China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan)
- Women entrepreneurs in Asia鈥檚 start-up scene (Pakistan, the Philippines, Vietnam)
- Canadian support for LGBTQ rights groups (Myanmar, South Korea, and Taiwan)
The panel discussion will be followed by two short workshops on how to do this kind of research and how to package it for a public audience.
