Criminology welcomes incoming students at Information Evening
The School of Criminology joined 間眅埶AV in welcoming over 1,300 incoming students at Information Evening, a campus-wide event aimed to prepare students for university life.
The evenings activities included an education fair, presentations, and campus and residence tours.
The School participated with a booth at the education fair crewed by Undergraduate Academic Advisor Alexis Vanderveen, Professor Gail Anderson, Senior Lecturer Sheri Fabian, associate director of undergraduate programs, and Lecturer Danielle Murdoch. They answered prospective students questions about admittance to Criminologys multiple program streams, and provided tips for success in the program.
Fabian also gave a sample lecture, Criminology 101: Undoing Law and Order and CSI to give students an idea of what to expect in class come September.
For the last twenty-three years, Information Evening has laid a foundation for students who have been admitted to 間眅埶AV, allowing them to learn more about their chosen programs and welcoming them to the 間眅埶AV community.
