Being Black and Muslim in Metro Vancouver
On February 23rd, we had the first part of our new conversation series: Being Muslim. These illustrations recap the discussion. Feel free to share, distribute and use as a teaching tool. We are making the images available and free to use to contribute to the wider discussion of what it means to be Black and Muslim in Vancouver, in Canada, and in North America. Many thanks for our community engagement initiatives' leader Aslam Bulbulbia for organizing the event, Halah Zumrawi for partnering with us, and Tiaré Jung for illustrating the conversation.
