Knowledge Exchange

Medicine Walk

The CCAIHG aims to center and honour Indigenous knowledges and ways of doing in every aspect of our work. While we acknowledge Indigenous knowledge is global insofar as Indigenous people share common histories and experiences; we recognize each Nation has specific methods and protocols for translating and exchanging knowledge. We believe it is important for the Centre to share strengths, distinctions-based approaches, community-driven protocols and resources including wise practices for Indigenous communities, collectives, organizations, Indigenous health scholars, public health systems leaders, and health partners to collectively learn and grow.

We take pride in the work that we do with collaboration from our Indigenous partners, communities, and Indigenous health scholars to create meaningful and impactful mainstream and traditional knowledge exchange initiatives through a variety of sources such as: news articles, posts on social media platforms. and interviews.
