Biography

Natahnee Winder is Navajo, Pyramid Lake Paiute, Shoshone, Southern Ute, and a member of the Duckwater Shoshone Tribe. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Indigenous Studies and the School of Public Policy at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV. Natahnee also has the honorable distinction of being the 2015-2016 Henry Roe Cloud Fellow at Yale University. She is currently working on an expansion of Colliding Heartwork, a framework she developed to analyze and create space for collective and individual healing from the intergenerational impacts of the residential school legacy on Turtle Island.
