Slides Presentation from file (without laptop): Bring your presentation file as a .pdf file on a USB key. In addition, you can send your .pdf file to jk30@sfu.ca a day before your scheduled presentation day. A laptop with a projector will be available for presentation, but it will be the presenter's responsibility to ensure that the file is loaded and properly running well before presentation time.
Slides Presentation with laptop: Display projectors will be available for all presentations. Presenters will be required to set up their laptop, connect to the projector and test the connection prior to their session. Please be prepared to set up your laptop as the questions from the previous session are wrapping up so that there is a smooth transition from one talk to the next. Mac users should be sure to bring the correct adapter to connect to a standard 15-pin VGA connector.
Please do not rely on network access for your presentation. If you have any special technical needs for your presentation, please let us know as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate them.
Handouts: If you need to prepare handouts, please prepare 80 copies. Should you need to make additional copies, there is a print shop at Harbour Centre () or at 779 West Pender Street, Vancouver but allow at least 24hr for pick up.
