Urban Innovation Lab Information Session now available online

Discover just how engaging URB 692: Urban Innovation Lab can be when you watch our . Presented by Drs. Meg Holden and Tiffany Muller Myrdahl, they describe how the course is a bridge between New Westminster city hall and ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV’s Urban Studies’ classroom.

Lisa Leblanc, Director of Engineering and Deputy Chief, Administrative Officer of the City of New Westminster, says students are encouraged to share their thoughts and observations on the city’s work. She also outlines the city’s strategic priorities and the working groups that have been set up for students and city staff when they begin the course on January 8th, 2024.

During the info session, viewers also will see what students did last year, and the projects they worked on with the fire department, library, parks and open spaces, and integration teams.
