Department of Biomecial Physiology and Kinesiology | Faculty of Science
間眅埶AV Calendar 2012 Spring

間眅埶AV Requirements

Application can be made once four of the required lower division courses have been competed, each with a minimum grade of C-, and the program approval form (available from the undergraduate advisor) has been submitted. At least onbe of the four courses must be KIN 105 or 142.

間眅埶AV is competitive.

The admission grade point average (GPA) is calculated each term on the four required courses. All courses completed towards the program will be included in the application process.

Application Procedure

Students should complete a program approval form, which is available at the department's general office, and submit it to the kinesiology advisor by June 1 for fall term approval, October 1 for spring term approval, or February 1 for summer term approval.

Program Requirements

The following have been completed, with a minimum grade of C-in each course. At that point, applicants can submit a program approval form to the undergraduate advisor.

* if not already counted toward this program

A minimum GPA of 2.0 calculated over all kinesiology courses used to satisfy the requirements is required, as well as a minimum upper division GPA of 2.0 calculated from those upper division kinesiology courses used to satisfy the requirements. There is a maximum number of allowable transferable units that count toward the minor program from any other institution, including the Open Learning Agency.
