Effective April 1, 2011, the Department of Archaeology will become part of the Faculty of Environment, moving from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. Although the Department of Archaeology's faculty is changing, the awarded degrees are not. Students entering or enrolled in archaeology programs will still receive degrees in their chosen field of study. More information is available from the department advisor at papaiann@sfu.ca or from leighm@sfu.ca in the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Environment. Students who have not yet declared a major are advised to speak with a Student Services advisor.
