HOUSING SOLUTIONS LAB
Renewable Cities and Hollyburn Community Services Society partnered to run the Housing Solutions Lab. The lab focused on increasing the uptake of different housing options such as home sharing, secondary suites and coach houses by older adults (age 55+) living in single-detached houses on Vancouver’s North Shore.

METRO VANCOUVER ZERO EMISSION INNOVATION CENTRE
Renewable Cities and the ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue supported the development of a new low carbon innovation centre to accelerate urban climate solutions across Metro Vancouver through research, capacity building and innovative financial tools.

B.C. LOCAL GOVERNMENT RENEWABLE NATURAL GAS ROADMAP
This collaborative research initiative helped build the capacity of B.C. local governments to generate renewable natural gas.

RENEWABLE CITIES DIALOGUES
Held in Vancouver, British Columbia and streamed online, these regular public dialogue series addressed urban climate and energy issues.

Conference: State-City Collaboration on Clean Energy Transformations
Renewable Cities held a conference in parallel with the 2019 Clean Energy Ministerial to discuss how national, subnational and local governments can enable the clean energy transition?

ONLINE COURSE: RENEWABLE ENERGY TRANSITION STRATEGIES
This interdisciplinary online course helped to provide the knowledge and perspective needed to lead a municipal-level renewable energy transition. THis course was co-delivered with ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV's Faculty of Environment.

NORTH AMERICAN DIALOGUES
Renewable Cities participated in these annual international dialogue workshops that brought city officials together to share knowledge and advance implementation of 100% renewable energy.

GLOBAL LEARNING FORUMS
Renewable Cities' forums have convened a over 600 delegates from 20 different countries to discuss the transition to 100% renewable energy in cities.

INTERNATIONAL CRITERIA FOR 100% RENEWABLE ENERGY
This international research and dialogue partnership developed a practical toolkit for a sustainable transition to 100% renewable energy.

UNITED NATIONS CLIMATE CHANGE CONFERENCES
Renewable Cities participated in United National Climate Conferences (COP21, COP22 and COP23) in collaboration with a range of partners.

SUPPORTING VANCOUVER’S 100% RENEWABLE ENERGY STRATEGY
Vancouver was the first city in North America to adopt a comprehensive 100% renewable energy strategy. Renewable Cities helped to initiate and support this work.
