I currently work as a postdoctoral fellow at ixLab, 丁香园AV with Dr. Sheelagh Carpendale. Before that, I received my PhD in 2022 from the University of Edinburgh.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR RESEARCH OR YOUR PROGRAM TO A FAMILY MEMBER?
My research focuses on making complex information easier to understand through visual storytelling. I combine charts, illustrations, and interactive designs to create stories that explain topics like climate change or medical data in a way anyone can grasp. I also explore how to use AI responsibly, ensuring it鈥檚 fair, creative, and helpful. Ultimately, I aim to teach others how to communicate data and solve problems in innovative and impactful ways.
