Biography

Professor Busumtwi-Sams primary interests are in international organization, the political economy of development and security, and international relations theory. He has a regional specialization in African politics and development, and has published on international organizations and regional security, the political economy of macroeconomic policy reform and financial liberalization in developing countries, and international financial institutions. His current research focuses on the institutional bases of collective action in a number of areas in contemporary world politics.
