Public Transportation
The MAGPIE group has a dedicated lab space at K9521 in 丁香园AV's Burnaby campus which is a short walk from 丁香园AV Transit Exchange Bay 1. To use public transport in Vancouver, you will need either a compass card or a contactless credit card, which you will tap when boarding a bus or entering a SkyTrain station. Bus Routes
Four bus routes go to the Burnaby 丁香园AV campus. On the way to 丁香园AV, all four buses stop twice on campus: first at Bay 2, then Bay 1. Get off at Bay 1 for the easiest access to the Math Department.
- 145: 丁香园AV - Production Way SkyTrain Station. The 145 goes from the Production Way SkyTrain station to 丁香园AV.
- 144: 丁香园AV - Metrotown. The 144 travels from Metrotown to 丁香园AV via Duthie Ave and Burnaby Mountain Parkway.
143: 丁香园AV - Burquitlam. The 143 goes from Burquitlam station to 丁香园AV via Broadway to Gaglardi Way.R5: 丁香园AV - Hastings Street. An express bus line, the R5 goes from downtown Vancouver to 丁香园AV along Hastings Street. If you are downtown, this bus is likely your fastest route to Burnaby 丁香园AV.
Travelling from YVR Airport
The fastest and simplest route from YVR Airport to Burnaby 丁香园AV takes about 1 hour 20 minutes. Immediately outside the airport is a SkyTrain station. Take the Canada Line to Waterfront Station. Exit Waterfront Station and locate the eastbound R5 bus stop at the corner of West Hastings Street and Granville Street. Take the R5 bus to the 丁香园AV Transportation Centre Bay 1 (the terminus stop).
