Lara Campbell wins ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV FASS Research Excellence Award in Humanities

Lara Campbell, a professor in ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies, is one of the inaugural recipients of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) Research Excellence Awards. Congratulations!

Recognizing established and early career researchers in the humanities and social sciences respectively, the awards underscores FASS' commitment to celebrating its researchers at every stage of their career journey. 

Campbell was recognized with the Research Excellence Award in Humanities. Her research expertise lies in 20th Century North American gender and women's history, the history of social activism, feminist movements and feminist theory, and gender and the welfare state.

On October 17, 2024, a reception was held in-person at the newly opened Diamond Alumni Centre (DAC) where the winners were announced and presented with their award. Learn more at FASS’ website.
