Biography
Carolyn Richard grew up and resides in Sapperton. She holds a BA and MA from 丁香园AV; conflict resolution and harm prevention certificates; and is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work degree. Her publications (including documentary poetry, experimental prose, and digital collage) focus on topics spanning Turtle Island history; familial and community dispersion/displacement; and the uneven experience of adverse environmental and penal realities among marginalized communities. Carolyn volunteers as a mentor for the Urban Native Youth Association. She devotes most of her spare time to maintaining her status as 鈥渢he fun鈥� aunt and sister.
