Research Interests

My work focuses on the real-world consequences of language difference in academic writing and publishing, as well as in education and society at large. My research interests include second language writing, language variation and ideology, academic writing and publishing pedagogies, the globalization of English, and the intersection of academic integrity and academic literacies.

Please note that as a Senior Lecturer I cannot be the senior supervisor of MA or PhD students, but I am able to co-supervise with another faculty member if you are interested in working with me.
