Donna Serviss
Donna Serviss has a background in anthropology and experience in marketing, advertising, brand management, visual merchandising, business administration, community investment and corporate social responsibility. Along with extensive experience in the corporate world, she teaches courses at BCIT in brand innovation and development, global marketing and marketing management. Donna has been a sessional instructor with ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Continuing Studies since 2016.
After moving on from her role as the senior manager of community investment at TELUS, Donna worked for a number of companies developing marketing and trade show programs. She has experience drafting internal and external communications, coordinating sponsorship marketing and fulfillment, and managing client relations, print advertising and event logistics.
Over the past few years, Donna has devoted her time to teaching and learning. Her understanding of culture and consumer behavior, along with her passion for analyzing the global marketplace, provides the foundation for each course she develops and teaches.
