¶¡ÏãÔ°AV

Criteria and eligibility

An important goal of the CEI is to encourage the development of innovative collaborations between ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV and its communities – including non-profit organizations, industry associations, NGOs, Indigenous communities and local First Nations, and municipal, provincial, and federal government departments – characterized by a mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge and resources in a context of partnership and reciprocity.

Community engagement â€” an inclusive approach to teaching, research, and scholarship.

The Carnegie Foundation's definition of community engagement describes it as the process of collaboration between institutions of higher education and their larger communities for the mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge and resources in a context of partnership and reciprocity.
