Celebrating Culture and Community at C2UExpo
間眅埶AV hosted the C簡UExpo 2017 from May 1 to 5 a conference featuring collaborations and relationships between academic and community parnters. The Community and Cultural Mash-Up reception was a special event on the evening of May 3 for C簡UExpo participants, featuring some of 間眅埶AVs cultural and community partners.
The night included creative forms of engagement by Gen Why Media, Tin Can Studio, Megaphone magazine and Binners Project; performances by Culture Saves Lives, Jim Byrnes and Tonye Aganaba, Hard Rubber Orchestra, Charles Demers, Mitcholos [AKA] aph怗spatunaki imaqsi, Woodwards Community Singers, Sawagi Taiko and Tzokam. The evening also included a PechaKucha showcase on community engagement presented by various C簡UExpo delegates.
