Who benefits from the smart city? Is smart city technology compatible with social justice and equity in Vancouver? What is the potential for urban tech to help the city cope with COVID19? Come and see for yourself as three teams of graduate social science students explore these questions and present their pitches to a panel of experts. There will be plenty of opportunity for audience engagement, and the night will end with a vote on the winner via live polling! This event is free and open to the public.
