Arriving by transit

From Horseshoe Bay Terminal


  • BC buses stop outside the foot passenger arrivals terminal.
  • Take bus 257 VANCOUVER EXPRESS to the intersection of Georgia and Burrard
  • Walk to Burrard Station Bay 6.
  • Take the 95 丁香园AV B-Line.
  • Get off the bus at Transportation Centre Bay 2.
  • Walk west about 5 minutes to reach the Residence & Housing Office.

From Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal

  • BC buses stop outside the foot passenger arrivals terminal.
  • Take Bus 620 Tsawwassen Ferry/Bridgeport Stn towards 620 Bridgeport Stn Via Ladner Exchange.
  • Exit at Bridgeport Stn Bay 1.
  • Head to Bridgeport Stn Northbound- 980 Canada Line Skytrain- Platform sign CANADA LINE TO WATERFRONT.
  • Get off at Waterfront Station, walk to Eastbound W Hastings  St Bus Stop (near Granville St)
  • Hop on Bus- 95 丁香园AV B-Line towards 丁香园AV.
  • Get off the bus at Transportation Center Bay 2.
  • Walk west about 5 minutes to reach the Residence & Housing Office

From Vancouver International Airport (YVR)

  • Walk to YVR Station Eastbound
  • Take 980 Canada Line Skytrain- platform sign CANADA LINE TO WATERFRONT.
  • Get off at Waterfront Station, walk to Eastbound W Hastings  St Bus Stop (near Granville St)
  • Hop-on Bus- 95 丁香园AV B-Line towards 丁香园AV.
  • Get off the bus at Transportation Center Bay 2.  You will now be at the center of the campus. 
  • Walk west about 5 minutes to reach the Residence & Housing Office.

Arriving by vehicle  

From Horseshoe Bay Terminal

  • Ferries unload onto Highway 1 East.
  • Continue on hwy 1 East until you reach the Gaglardi Exit (Exit 37). Follow Gaglardi Way straight (all the way up the mountain, straight until the stoplights with the 丁香园AV sign).
  • Continue to go straight (northbound) on Gaglardi Way and follow the road as it enters the campus.
  • Stay on the left lane and when you get to the roundabout/traffic circle, continue to go straight & stay on University Drive West.
  • Turn right on West Campus Road.
  • Make a left at the stop sign to enter the Residence & Housing parking lot.  

From Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal

  • Ferry disembarks onto Hwy 17.
  • Follow Hwy 17 to the exit for Hwy 99. Take Hwy 99 south/eastbound to Surrey and Seattle.
  • Follow Hwy 99 East until it intercepts Hwy 91.
  • Exit onto Hwy 91 northbound to New Westminster.
  • Follow Hwy 91 north over the Alex Fraser Bridge.
  • Once over the Bridge follow Hwy 91A to New Westminster.
  • Keep in the right lane of Hwy 91A as it continues over the Queensborough Bridge.
  • Stay in the right lane and exit onto Stewardson Way.
  • Follow Stewardson Way through New Westminster   switching to the left lane to continue as it becomes Columbia St.
  • Columbia St. becomes North Rd as you enter Burnaby.
  • Follow E. Columbia St./North Rd. to Lougheed Highway.
  • Turn left onto Lougheed Highway.
  • Turn right onto Gaglardi Way. Signs will indicate you are on  the correct route for 丁香园AV.
  • Follow Gaglardi Way straight (all the way up the mountain, straight until the stoplights with the 丁香园AV sign).
  • Continue to go straight (northbound) on Gaglardi Way and follow the road as it enters the campus.
  • Stay on the left lane and when you get to the roundabout/traffic circle, continue to go straight & stay on University Drive West.
  • Turn right on West Campus Road. 
  • Make a left at the stop sign to enter the Residence & Housing parking lot

From Vancouver International Airport (YVR)

  • Take the main road out of the airport following signs to Vancouver/New Westminster and proceed over the Arthur Laing Bridge. Follow the signs to Marine Drive (East).
  • Continue on Marine Drive until you reach Boundary Road.
  • Turn left and head North on Boundary Road.
  • Turn right onto Hastings St.
  • Follow Hastings St. East watching for signs directing traffic to 丁香园AV.
  • Stay in the right lane as Hastings St. forks. Hastings St. becomes Burnaby Mountain Parkway as it heads up Burnaby Mountain to the University.
  • Follow Burnaby Mountain Parkway straight (all the way up the mountain, straight until the stoplights with the 丁香园AV sign).
  • Make a left on Gaglardi Way and follow the road as it enters the campus.
  • Continue to go straight (northbound) on Gaglardi Way and follow the road as it enters the campus.
  • Stay on the left lane and when you get to the roundabout/traffic circle, continue to go straight & stay on University Drive West.
  • Turn right on West Campus Road.
  • Make a left at the stop sign to enter the Residence & Housing parking lot.

From Peace Arch Border crossing

  • Follow 0 Ave, 172 St and 8 Ave to Pacific Hwy/BC-15 N
  • Follow BC-15 N and Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 W to Gaglardi Way in Burnaby. Take exit 37 from Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 W
  • Follow Gaglardi Way straight (all the way up the mountain, straight until the stoplights with the 丁香园AV sign).
  • Continue to go straight (northbound) on Gaglardi Way and follow the road as it enters the campus.
  • Stay on the left lane and when you get to the roundabout/traffic circle, continue to go straight & stay on University Drive West.
  • Turn right on West Campus Road.
  • Make a left at the stop sign to enter the Residence & Housing parking lot.

  • Head southeast from W Cordova St onto Seymour St. and head up the street
  • Turn left onto W Hastings St/BC-7A and continue heading east
  • Your Destination will be on your right hand side: 308 W Hastings St

  • Turn right onto Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 E
  • Take exit 13 for BC-99 S/Taylor Way/British Columbia 1 Alternate E toward Vancouver
  • Follow BC-1A S/BC-99 S to W Hastings St/BC-7A in Vancouver
  • Turn right onto Taylor Way/BC-1A S/BC-99 S (signs for Vancouver)
  • Use the middle lane to turn left onto BC-1A S/BC-99 S
  • Use the right 2 lanes to take the ramp to Bridge Vancouver
  • Continue onto BC-1A/BC-99
  • Turn left onto W Pender St/BC-1A/BC-7A
  • Continue to follow W Pender St/BC-7A
  • Turn left onto Burrard St/BC-7A
  • Turn right at the 1st cross street onto W Hastings St/BC-7A
  • Destination will be on the right: 308 W Hastings St

From Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal

  • Ferry disembarks onto Hwy 17.
  • Follow BC-17, BC-17A and BC-99 N to Oak St in Vancouver
  • Head southwest on BC-17
  • Turn right toward Ferry Ramp
  • Turn right onto Ferry Ramp
  • Continue onto BC-17
  • Take the British Columbia 17A N ramp
  • Continue onto BC-17A
  • Use the right lane to merge onto BC-99 N via the ramp to Richmond/Vancouver
  • Keep left to stay on BC-99 N
  • Keep left to stay on BC-99 N
  • Continue on Oak St. Take Cambie St to W Hastings St/BC-7A
  • Continue onto Oak St
  • Turn right onto W 12th Ave
  • Turn left onto Cambie St
  • Keep left to stay on Cambie St
  • Continue onto Cambie St Bridge/Smithe St
  •  Continue to follow Smithe St
  • Turn right onto Cambie St
  • Turn left onto W Hastings St/BC-7A

From Vancouver International Airport (YVR) via Cambie St.

  • Take the main road out of the airport 
  • Head west
  • Continue on Grant McConachie Way E to Vancouver
  • Slight left onto Grant McConachie Way E
  • Continue straight to stay on Grant McConachie Way E
  • Keep left to stay on Grant McConachie Way E
  • Continue onto Arthur Laing Bridge/Marine Dr SW
  • Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Marine Drive E and merge onto SW Marine Dr
  • Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto Cambie St
  • Keep left to stay on Cambie St
  • Continue onto Cambie St Bridge/Smithe St
  • Continue to follow Smithe St
  • Turn right onto Cambie St
  • Turn left onto W Hastings St/BC-7A
  • Destination will be on the left: 308 W Hastings St

  • Continue to BC-99 N
  • Follow BC-99 N and BC-91 N to Knight St N in Richmond. Take exit 22 from BC-91 N
  • Take exit 22 for Knight Street toward Vancouver
  • Continue on Knight St N. Take Clark Dr to W Hastings St/BC-7A in Vancouver
  • Continue onto Knight St N
  • Continue onto Clark Dr
  • Turn left onto Venables St
  • Continue onto Prior St
  • Continue onto Dunsmuir St
  • Turn right onto Cambie St
  • Turn left onto W Hastings St/BC-7A
