STT-Critical Refugee Studies GA 333 (4)
Introduces students to the interdisciplinary field of critical refugee studies drawing on a Global Asia framework. The course centers Asian refugee knowledge and cultural production to examine critiques of imperialism, colonialism, capitalism, and patriarchy and imagine alternative models of coexistence. Prerequisite: 45 units. Recommended: GA 101 or GA 211.
