Rome: From Republic to Empire HUM 220 (3)
Examines the culture and history of Rome from city-state to Empire: kingly rule, aristocratic Republic, imperial expansion, civil strife, all leading to monarchic empire under the Caesars. Prerequisite: 30 units. Students with credit for HS 201 may not take this course for further credit.
