Intermediate French I : Cultures and Communication FREN 201 (3)
Presents an integrated approach to studying the French language and culture by zooming in and out across two Francophone cities: Pointe-Ã -Pitre in Guadeloupe and Lyon in France. The course includes literary and cultural reading and analysis, listening comprehension activities, grammar, and intensive practice activities in written and spoken French. Prerequisite: Grade 12 French or FREN 102 or FREN 122 or consult with the French advisor. Students with credit for FREN 210 or FREN 211 may not take this course for further credit.
