Global Feminist Politics: Gender at the Nexus of Comparative and International Politics POL 414 (4)
Examines the philosophical underpinnings and political realities of global feminism as a movement and a principle of institutional design. Asks questions about the impacts of global solidarity among women and feminist philosophy. Covers regional, national and transnational movements, as well as their implications for policy, law and social movement practice. Prerequisite: Eight upper division units in political science or permission of the department. Students with credit for POL 438 under the title "Global Feminist Politics" may not take this course for further credit.
