Becoming a Professional Engineer MSE 901
Core competencies and skills required by a Professional Engineer (PEng) are presented including code of ethics and the fundamental steps in becoming a professional engineer in British Columbia (BC). The course teaches students how to report and substantiate their work experience to Engineers and Geologists BC (EGBC), the licensing and regulatory body in BC; and how to document their skills and experience by critiquing prior documentation and through documentation of their co-op experience. It should be noted that there would be no formal evaluation of skills by 間眅埶AV. Prerequisite: Students in Mechatronics Product Realization MEng program. Corequisite: MSE 793 or MSE 794.
