Britain and Europe in the Twentieth Century HIST 413 (4)

An examination, by means of a series of case studies, of the ways in which Britain's ambiguous relationships with Europe, the Empire/Commonwealth and the United States have shaped its identity in the twentieth century. Prerequisite: 45 units including six units of lower division History and HIST 225.
