The course uses critical theory to look beyond the normative and prescriptive industrial view of information systems as purely effective and efficiency seeking and engages the often latent and complex hegemonic interactions between technology and society. Prerequisite: BUS 360W; 60 units. Students who have taken BUS 458 may not take this course for further credit.
