Archaeological Practice and Research Design in Heritage Resource Management ARCH 561 (5)
Intended to provide students with solid foundations in the philosophy of research, research strategy, research design and implementation in the context of HRM. Includes identifying the hallmarks of excellent HRM research by examining successful and less successful research designs and methods. Through online seminars and workshops each student develops a research prospectus for their MHRM thesis. The course culminates in the development of a final research prospectus which will be submitted for review and approval by the program steering committee. Prerequisite: Enrollment in the MA in HRM.
