From First-Year University to a Major Program
Students are encouraged to meet with the advisor to discuss and plan their future choice of major or minor programs. Doing so may prevent unnecessary education delays by planning ahead to meet program requirements, because some programs may have enrolment limitations with competitive entry standards that are based on academic performance. Students who are unable to gain admission to such programs should consult the advisor regarding other options.
Residency Requirements and Transfer Credit
The University’s residency requirement stipulates that, in most cases, total transfer and course challenge credit may not exceed 60 units, and may not include more than 15 as upper division work.
