The role of the criminal court judge, prosecutor, lawyer, jury, witness, expert, etc. Appointment, tenure, removal of judges; the social psychology of the courts; the jury system; plea bargaining; judicial behavior of the courts; the courts and the community; public opinion, attitudes and images of the courts; the mass media and the courts. Prerequisite: CRIM 131. Recommended: CRIM 135.
