An advanced seminar in media studies focusing upon theoretical debates about the allegedly ideological character of mass media and mass culture. Prerequisite: 75 units, including CMNS 310. CMNS 331 and SA 327 recommended. Students who have taken CMNS 422 may not take this course for further credit.
