Entrepreneurial ideas undergo a transition from being a concept within a classroom to being able to survive as a commercially viable enterprise. Intensive coaching and mentoring through sector- specific mentors and organizations will provide students with experience in market validation, pitching and business planning as ventures move to incubators, accelerators, or sustainable operations. Prerequisite: Instructor permission; 60 credit hours; BUS 360W (or successful completion of an upper division Writing (W) course). Students with credit for a Selected Topics in Business Administration, when offered as New Venture Accelerator, may not complete this course for further credit.
