REEL 114 COMMENTARY
1. Herb George tells how he builds a log canoe, he speaks Squamish here. One of the last speakers of the native language, he still has great difficulty with many words. After the narrative, he talks about it, and some problems facing Indians: loss of language and culture, disorganization.
