COMMENTARY
1. Walking through tunnels, up and down stairs to the new reading room. Good sequence of footsteps (3 people) in different ambiences. Entering reading room: from busy to muted, studious ambience.
2. Good and Clear
3. Heavy flow of vehicles along a relatively narrow one-way street. Roads are wet.
4. Incomplete sequence, interesting only for frustration of recordist.
5. Bells very distant, not too good.
6. Good sequence. Each time when tram stops bell sounds inside (m * 3). Occasionally one hears outside bell as well. Woman conductor announcing stops.
7. Last part of trip quite a bit louder.
8. Unidentified signal near Beethoven's house, sounds like a rare siren, unusual.
9. Distant noonbells. Ambience with school kids speaking Austrian dialect, footsteps, dog barking, occasional car passing.
10. Footsteps on cobblestones. Toward end, very loud bike passing.
11. (false start). Baby carriage(?) on cobblestones, birds, people, good, quiet ambience.
12. A rushing creek, later a quiet gurgle; birds, gusts of wind in trees (sometimes in mic) Walk continues, wind singing around lamp post.
