COMMENTARY
1a. & b. Lots of wind in mic.
2a. Ringing of glass, nice sound.
2b. Very short take; some anonymous impact sounds.
7. Man describes process in background, cracking of glass in foreground, accompanied by big hum.
8. Glass clinks as it is packed.
9. Same as 8, and breaking of rejects.
10. Uncomfortable, high frequency sound.
11. Women working and talking to each other.
13. Again high frequency sound, almost unbearable to listen to. Great sound.
15. Same as 13.
16. Process sounds like a musical phrase, repeating: regular beat, water flowing, something closing.
17. Also hard to take, high frequencies.
19. Radio and the ever present hummmmm from factory (Kosta Glassworks)
20. Talk to maker of trumpet. Tuning, Fanfare I, played twice. Fanfare II, played twice, pretty awful sharp edge to the tone.
21. Fanfare II repeated once again.
22. Very lively bird song, church bells faint in distance, nice.
23. Cars, lots of people in foreground, bells in background, birds all the time. Nice busy ambience.
24a &b. Bells are competing with traffic.
24c. Bells a bit clearer, still lots of traffic, while bus passing bells stops.
