Ant Run
Game redesign
By: Xinyang Zhang, Yuki Cai, Eunice Wong, Jeffrey Su
Course: IAT 312 Foundations of Game Design
Description: Our redesign of Antlion is an endless side-scrolling, rogue-lite where users play as an ant and run through various terrain-filled with obstacles to escape the deadly antlion. Along the way, they can search for power-ups by digging through grass and choose permanent buffs at the anthill checkpoints. There are various power-up options, such as an increase in eating speed, increases in running speed, or if unlucky, a hazard will spawn in the grass slowing the player down. If the antlion catches up, the ant will get eaten!
