Biography

Agnese is a PhD Candidate at the division of Energy Systems at KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden). Currently she is joining the ΔE+ Research Group at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV as visiting research scholar, thanks to the support she was offered by the Mitacs Globalink Research Award. 

During her time at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV she will be working on robust decision making to address policy questions in support of global climate governance, by continuing her work on the Global Least-cost User-friendly CLEWs Open-Source Exploratory model (GLUCOSE).

Previously, Agnese has been working as research engineer at the same division at KTH. During this period, she was involved as a trainer in several capacity building activities (the Joint Summer School on Modelling Tools for Sustainable Development - OpTIMUS, the Energy Modelling Platform for Africa) targeting academics, policy makers and expert practitioners particularly from developing countries and focusing on teaching long-term energy and resource systems modelling using the Open Source energy Modelling SYStem (OSeMOSYS). She was also involved in developing and supporting the growing OSeMOSYS Community of users via the management of the dedicated website, newsletter and Q&A forum.

Agnese holds a M.Sc. in Sustainable Technology from KTH and a B.Sc. in Energy Engineering from Politecnico di Torino (Italy).
