Biography
Ana Luc铆a (she/her/ella) is the Ocean Equity Lab Coordinator and the Ocean Nexus Communications Specialist. In 2022, she attained her Master's degree in Fisheries and Oceans, focusing her research on California sea lion populations and diet quality. In her current role, Ana Luc铆a supports the research and logistics at the Ocean Equity lab and executes the Ocean Nexus online communications strategy. Ana Luc铆a aims to combine her creative interests in photography and film, with her scientific understanding of ocean issues to innovate new and engaging ways of communicating science to interdisciplinary audiences.
