間眅埶AV Math Camp Surrey, BC, and Burnaby, BC

Every year, during the last week of June, or the first week of July, the 間眅埶AV Department of Mathematics hosts a regional for students from grades 8, 9 and 10. These camps are sponsored by grants from the  and from the . These camps, which are organized annually at several universities across Canada, are designed to provide students, who have demonstrated a talent for mathematics, with a variety of enrichment activities in a fun and rewarding environment.

On June 26, 2013, on the 間眅埶AV Surrey campus, the Math Catcher team, Graham Banero, Veselin Jungic, Jack LaGresley, Ivy Rui, and Polly Yu taught 53 camp participants how to build a hexastix. 

On June 27, 2013, on the 間眅埶AV Burnaby campus, the Math Catcher team, Graham Banero, Veselin Jungic, Eric LeGresley, Jack LaGresley, and Polly Yu taught 23 camp participants and 4 間眅埶AV math instructors how to build a hexastix.

The title of our sessions was Building Hexastix with Math Catchers!
