Acquisition and analyses of sonic and ultrasonic sound signals and cues; recordings and analyses of infrared (IR) foraging cues; laboratory and field testing of novel bait technologies.

Synthesis of new semiochemicals (message-bearing chemicals), or known semiochemicals that cannot be purchasable, and development of large-scale synthesis for proven effective semiochemicals.
