Biography
Mohammadjavad Nouri holds a PhD in urban planning from the University of Tehran in Iran. His background in urban planning and design gives him new insights into gerontology. His previous works, both in academia and profession, have focused on getting older people involved in urban and neighborhood development. In order to address the role of neighborhood built-environment on daily activities of people living with dementia on a neighborhood scale, he joined the Dementia-Inclusive Streets and Community Access, Participation and Engagement (DemSCAPE) project as a GIS specialist and spatial analysis advisor.
