HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR RESEARCH OR YOUR PROGRAM TO A FAMILY MEMBER?
My research focuses on how robots can process and replicate human-like characteristics, such as speech, emotions and movement. Currently I am very interested in how robots can be used to preserve and teach minority languages.

Collaborating with the other students and supervisors in my labs.

NSERC CGS Masters Scholarship - as a more mature student I tend to have a lot of extra financial commitments. My award and fellowship have allowed me to focus more on my studies and take on less work on the side.
