Emma grew up in rural Ontario and received a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Biology from the University of Guelph in 2019. After graduating, she familiarized herself with the Rocky Mountains before moving to Vancouver and joining the EMRG team as a master’s student. Emma is deeply interested in how Canada, and the world, can transform its energy system into one that is emissions neutral and sustainable. She is excited to contribute to the energy-economy research taking place within EMRG and hopes to broaden her understanding of climate policy opportunities within Canada. In her free time Emma loves to travel, explore the outdoors, and play euchre.
