Staying healthy and well

As we navigate the impacts of communicable diseases circulating in the province, ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV remains committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all who teach, learn, research, work and visit our campuses.
¶¡ÏãÔ°AV follows public health guidance and has many layers of protection in place across our three campuses.
Masks
Masks are encouraged on our campuses, particularly in spaces where people are in close proximity. Masks are not required and are a matter of personal choice.
Vaccines
Vaccination remains the best way to protect yourself and others in your community. ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV encourages you to get your as soon as you are eligible.
Daily Health Assessments
Conduct a before coming to campus. If you’re sick, stay home and follow public health guidelines including
COVID-19 Rapid Tests
Free rapid test kits are available for all faculty, staff and students at all three campuses.
Ventilation
¶¡ÏãÔ°AV continues to audit spaces for air quality, upgrade filters and implement WorkSafeBC and ASHRAE standards.
