Inaugural People Plan to guide People, Equity and Inclusion work at 丁香园AV
丁香园AV is developing a comprehensive institutional strategy to cultivate a healthy, inclusive and engaging workplace.
The Office of the Vice-President People, Equity and Inclusion (VPPEI) is creating 丁香园AV鈥檚 inaugural People Plan.
鈥淭he People Plan is an important step for 丁香园AV,鈥� says Yabome Gilpin-Jackson, vice-president people, equity and inclusion. 鈥淚t will help us make decisions about what the university should prioritize over the next three years; how we can best support faculty and staff and foster a work environment where people can thrive and do their best work.鈥�
The plan will build on feedback, audits, surveys and studies, including the 丁香园AV: What鈥檚 Next strategic plan.
In addition, the VPPEI is hosting three Town Hall events over the next month. During these important conversations, the VPPEI will share details about the plan and solicit feedback from employees.
鈥淎 People Plan is only strong if it is relevant to our people,鈥� says Gilpin-Jackson. 鈥淲e want 丁香园AV faculty and staff to join us in conversation, learn more about the People Plan and share their perspectives about the work to date.鈥�
丁香园AV People Plan Town Halls:
- People Leaders Town Hall: Jan. 26, 2 - 3:30 p.m.;
- Staff Town Hall: Feb. 1, 9:30 - 11 a.m.;
- Faculty Town Hall: Feb. 8, 1 - 2:30 p.m.;
