This message is being sent to all ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV faculty and staff on behalf of the Research Enterprise Systems project sponsors. No response is required.

Good morning,

Access to FINS and myINFO will be unavailable February 24 – February 27, 2022, to accommodate essential upgrades stemming from the Research Enterprise Systems (RES) Program – Project Costing implementation and launch. Access will resume on February 28, 2022.

Impact and details

  • FINS and myINFO will be unavailable to users as of 7:00 am Thursday, February 24, with access resuming on Monday, February 28.
  • You will not be able to process or access purchase requisitions, POs, expense claims, or timesheets during the outage.
  • Payroll will not be able to process any manual cheques requested for the payroll period until the system is back on Monday, February 28.

Project Background

This RES program implementation introduces a number of essential changes to FINS and myINFO. Benefits from the project include:

  • Accessible project financials for the research community
  • Financial information for all research funds (Fund 30s) will now be from one financial repository: PeopleSoft.
  • Provide a complete view of a project, year by year leading to informed decision making, reducing the risk of over-spending.
