From Catherine Dauvergne | ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV returns to in-person learning and teaching January 24, 2022
Dear colleagues,
I am writing to confirm ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV will return to in-person learning and teaching on January 24, 2022. This decision aligns with advice from public health, including evidence-based advice confirming a return to in-person learning and teaching is the single most important step we can take for overall student mental health at this time. As always, we are in regular contact with public health authorities regarding our plans.
The two-week delay has given us time to put continuity plans in place not only to return to in-person learning and teaching, but for the many critical services staff provide on our campuses. Our thanks to everyone for their work to develop and adhere to these plans.
A reminder that we each have a role to play in keeping one another safe. Use layers of protection. Get vaccinated, get your booster when you are eligible, wear your mask properly, maintain distance and wash your hands regularly.
Yours truly,
Dr. Catherine Dauvergne, QC
Vice-President, Academic and Provost
